Pistons' four-game win streak ends with loss to Rockets

Detroit — The Detroit Pistons battled back from a 14-point deficit and made several attempts to close the gap on the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Despite gaining strong momentum early in the fourth quarter, their efforts fell short, resulting in a 111-104 loss at Little Caesars Arena.

With the loss, the Pistons' overall record fell to 32-11, ending a four-game winning streak. Jalen Duren was the top scorer for Detroit with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Ausar Thompson contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Cade Cunningham returned after missing one game, finishing with 12 points and eight assists.

 

Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field, 5-of-11 shooting from behind the arc. Alperen Sengun added 19 points and five assists.
