Pistons unable to maintain hot start in loss to Bucks

MILWAUKEE — The Detroit Pistons once held an 18-point lead (27-9) over the Milwaukee Bucks with 3:02 left in the first quarter.
At the time, it appeared that the Pistons were on the verge of a blowout victory, especially given that the Bucks lost Giannis Antetokounmpo three minutes into the game. However, the Pistons were unable to maintain their hot start, falling 113-109 at Fiserv Forum Wednesday night.
Tobias Harris led Detroit with 20 points and five rebounds. Cade Cunningham recorded 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Jaden Ivey played the most minutes since returning from injury. He played 18 minutes, adding 15 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Kevin Porter Jr. led the Bucks with 26 points and eight assists. Ryan Rollins contributed with 22 points and eight assists.
