The Wisdom of Want
The sun may be in Cancer, but the heat is in Taurus today with two lunar conjunctions activating emotion around the material world -- our possessions, needs, wants, cravings and their accompanying visceral sensations. First, it's Venus, then Uranus that emphasizes the wild wisdom that can come from acknowledging desirous impulses even if we don't act on them.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Because you're living with integrity -- being kind, curious, brave or honest -- others absorb that without you needing to preach it. Your actions model something good. You inspire just by being yourself. That's the best kind of influence.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). There's an overlapping in these days. You're trying to show up and do a thing while also building the next things. It's like you're restructuring the scaffolding while the show is still on -- a little messy, but you'll pull it off.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It's never a bad idea to treat people better than they treat you. You'll do so with pride today, ensuring you've done your part as a partner, friend and citizen. Putting in more also builds goodwill for the times when you're the one in need.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). People may not always know how to name it, but they feel your tenderness. Keep letting your warmth spill, and it will flow to where it is most needed. Don't underestimate that power even if it goes unacknowledged.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). How you say something matters just as much as what you're saying, which is why you're careful not to blurt out everything that crosses your mind, regardless of how true it might be. Instead, you tune into your audience and adjust your tone accordingly.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Today brings a version of the Diderot effect -- one upgrade makes everything else look in need of a glow-up. Go ahead and set the improvements in motion. The funding will follow. Somehow, the means appear when the vision is clear.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Seek mentorship. It will give you structure, perspective and accountability. Even if the mentor isn't your ideal match, just having someone to check in with, reflect to or report progress to will ground you and help move you forward.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Love and connection unfold in unexpected, nontraditional ways -- no picture-perfect moments, no tidy chemistry. That doesn't mean those things are lacking. In fact, the day is full of mismatched personalities finding common ground and awkward beginnings leading to real closeness.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Emotional wisdom leads you to protect your relationships from conflict, whimsy and more. Feelings and circumstances can change quickly. Instead of acting on impulse, you'll observe, reflect and decide how (or whether) to engage in a situation.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll receive positive feedback -- it's a buzz! Next comes more tangible support -- commitments of time, resources and money. Flattery is nice, but real support (especially financial or concrete investment) is what actually helps you move forward.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The peace in your heart doesn't come from everything going right or everyone getting along. It arrives on the wings of a deeper knowing that reality, just as it is, holds its own strange perfection.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Approach love with intention and commitment, not just passion. You're willing to do the quiet, daily things that build lasting connection: listening when it's hard, showing up even when you're tired and choosing kindness, curiosity and repair over ego or escape.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 22). Simply put, this year is better. The financial end frees up to give you more to work with, and you reorganize your priorities and schedule to give yourself optimal vitality. Relationships are heartening. You're a magnet for the ones that teach, comfort, challenge and delight you. More highlights: a hobby that pays, an intriguing puzzle and a brief adventure that's one for the ages. Libra and Scorpio adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 22, 14, 39 and 6.
