ANAHEIM, Calif. — VinylCon! is set to return to Los Angeles this spring, bringing its growing vinyl-focused convention back for a two-day event at the California Market Center in downtown Los Angeles.

The event will take place March 21-22, marking the second Los Angeles edition of the multi-city vinyl fair.

The announcement follows VinylCon!’s debut Los Angeles outing last summer, which drew more than 2,500 attendees and featured over 80 record dealers from across the United States and abroad, including sellers from Japan and the Netherlands. Organizers said the first L.A. edition was one of the largest record fairs the city had seen in years, attracting collectors, DJs and music industry figures searching for rare pressings and sample material.

Tickets are on sale now, with more details to be released in the coming weeks. For additional information, visit thevinylcon.com.

Founded in 2023, VinylCon! has expanded quickly, establishing recurring editions in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Denver. The Los Angeles return reflects the convention’s continued growth and its effort to build a national community centered around vinyl collecting, DJ culture and physical music discovery.

“The first VinylCon! LA exceeded all of our expectations and we were blown away by the support from the LA music community,” VinylCon! founder Kobi Waldfogel shared in a recent press release. “We can’t wait to return to CMC and raise the bar even further on what a record fair can be!’”

The upcoming Los Angeles event is expected to surpass last year’s turnout, with an expanded dealer lineup and increased international participation, including vendors traveling from the United Kingdom. Organizers also plan a broader range of inventory spanning genres, eras and formats, appealing to both seasoned collectors and first-time buyers.

In addition to record vendors, the weekend will once again feature live vinyl DJ sets curated by DJ and collector Skeme Richards. Last year’s event included standout performances from artists such as Cut Chemist, along with appearances by producers and DJs digging through crates on the show floor. Additional DJ lineups and partnerships are expected to be announced closer to the event.

VinylCon! will also offer sponsor activations, giveaways and a full bar throughout the weekend. Parking will be available in the venue’s attached garage.
