A 48-year-old Florida woman is accused of killing both of her ex-husbands in separate incidents on the same day.

Manatee County authorities claim Susan Erica Avalon shot one of her victims two times shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday in Bradenton.

Detectives tracked Avalon down and found her at home cleaning her minivan with bleach and rags, according to Florida station WWSB. When authorities told her they had questions about her ex-husband, she reportedly asked, “Which one?”

That led investigators to her other alleged victim, whom they found fatally wounded by multiple gunshot wounds in Tampa. The backdoor to his home showed signs of forced entry.

Police said they located the suspect by reviewing video of her stealing food from the pickup window of a Panera Bread restaurant, which she brought to her first victim’s home.

When he opened the door, she allegedly opened fire. The 54-year-old victim later died in an area hospital.

Avalon and the unidentified victim had reportedly been divorced for 11 years. She was said to have been $4,000 behind in child support payments, which she was required to pay in part this month.

Authorities said the suspect had been involved in custody battles with both of her alleged victims. Avalon was reportedly arrested on a child abuse charge in 2004, but other abuse cases against her were dropped. Avalon’s issues are believed to involve five children from her two marriages.

She was living with a boyfriend at the time of Wednesday’s murders. Cops said Avalon told that man on Tuesday that she wanted him to know she loves him “in case something happens to her.”
