Brian Crane

Pickles" creator Brian Crane left his job as an artist at an ad agency to pursue a full-time career as a cartoonist. His daily comic strip about an older couple and their family has caught the attention of hundreds of national newspapers, the National Cartoonists Society, and even Charles Schulz, who wrote the forward to Crane's first published collection of "Pickles" comics.

Crane has received two nominations for best comic strip of the year, which he won in 2001. Today, "Pickles" is syndicated in over 400 newspapers around the world, and is featured in a total of three print collections.
