It was the second consecutive game in which the Knights (19-11-12) came back for a win after falling behind 2-0.
Mark Stone had two assists and a power-play goal, while Jack Eichel had a goal and an assist, and Mitch Marner and Tomas Hertl each had two assists.
The Blue Jackets (18-18-7) got early goals from Boone Jenner and Kent Johnson before the Knights answered with four-straight goals.
Kirill Marchenko got the Blue Jackets within a goal at 4-3 with 5:32 remaining, but Brett Howden capped a 2-on-1 with Keegan Kolesar by finding the back of the net for an insurance goal 1:46 later.
Knights’ goaltender Carter Hart left the game in the first period after he appeared to injure his leg during a scramble in front of the net. Akira Schmid made 19 saves in relief after allowing a goal on the second shot he faced.
