Dorofeyev's hat trick propels Golden Knights to victory over Bruins

LAS VEGAS — Right wing Pavel Dorofeyev recorded the second hat trick of his career, and the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Boston Bruins 5-1 on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena.
Dorofeyev, who had a hat trick on Jan. 14 in Nashville, reached the 30-goal mark for the first time in his career.
Center Jack Eichel recorded two assists to tie his career-high of 82 points, and center Brett Howden scored his 19th goal of the season. Goaltender Adin Hill made 18 saves.
The Knights (40-20-8) reached the 40-win mark for the seventh time in their eight-year history.
