Will Trump Jr. bring new girlfriend to the inauguration festivities? Here's what we heard

Will she or won’t she?

Palm Beach gossip watchers can’t help but wonder if Donald Trump Jr.’s new girlfriend is going to attend the inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Monday.

There’s a good chance Bettina Anderson may be front and center as she and Jr., though not Instagram official, have been dating for a hot minute.

The two were first spotted on what appeared to be a clandestine brunch date back in September, while the first son (part II) was still engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle (for all we knew).

Then in December, Jr. and Anderson went public (ish) by walking hand in hand after the socialite’s birthday dinner at a swanky restaurant, near her downtown townhouse.

Soon after those paparazzi pictures went viral, the world pretty much knew that Giulfoyle and Jr. were over. There was no statement, but president elect Donald Trump quickly appointed the ex Fox anchor ambassador to Greece, in what appeared to be a consolation prize.

Their high-profile breakup does seem fairly amicable. Jr. congratulated his ex on her new cabinet position, and she still posts about Sr. constantly.

We are pretty sure Guilfoyle will be at Monday’s festivities, including the main one, the Liberty Ball, with entertainment by Nelly, The Village People and Jason Aldean. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the 55-year-old pundit will be dressed by “Under the Gunn” designer Oscar Garcia-Lopez, of Coral Gables.

Still, if the rumors are true, and Guilfoyle was “blindsided” by the alleged affair, things could get a tad awkward over in the national’s capital. Since there are three separate balls, maybe she’ll be smart and hit up the one where the lovebirds are not.

Or perhaps Anderson, 38, will exercise her right as an American and sit this one out. Especially because we hear that not everyone in the Mar-a-Lago/White House inner circle is a fan of the so called It Girl.

Multiple sources told Mediate on the condition of anonymity there are concerns that the influencer could be using Jr. for clout, which Anderson’s reps deny.

“Bettina’s presence is seen as a liability rather than an asset,” one source said, adding that her presence could be a “potential misstep that could etch this relationship, and its questionable nature, into the history books.”
