Clarence Page

Pulitzer Prize winner Clarence Page began his career in journalism as editor for the Middletown Journal and Cincinnati Inquirer, and received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University. Since 1984, he has worked as a columnist and editor for the Chicago Tribune, and has published articles in the Wall Street Journal, New York Newsday, Washington Monthly, and many others.

Page's television appearances include several documentaries on PBS, "Hardball," and the "This Week" roundtable news program. His articles and essays focus on pressing modern issues such as hunger, homelessness, bigotry, and crime, and his syndicated column appears in 200 papers nationwide.

Page has received honorary doctorates from Ohio University, Columbia College in Chicago and Lake Forest College.
