Rabbi Marc Gellman

Rabbi Marc Gellman began his studies in 1969 at the University of Wisconsin, and went on to attend the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, where he was the youngest rabbi ever ordained by the seminary. After receiving his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Northwestern University, he went on to teach at several academic institutions, including Princeton University, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Antioch College.

In addition to his teaching work, Rabbi Gellman has also served as chairman of the Medical Ethics Committee of the UJA Federation of New York, as well as contributing to the Compendium of Jewish Medical Ethics. He writes for many varied publications, from Moment Magazine to Golf Digest, and has written several children's books. His recognitions include the Tzedaka Award from the UMA-Federation and the Moshowitz Award for rabbinic excellence from the NYBR.
