How do you spell the keys to living younger longer? FFFF, PPP, AA
When The Jackson 5 sang "A B C, it's easy as 1 2 3," they were talking about the pleasure of falling in love. When I say, "Living younger longer is as easy as FFFF, PPP, AA," I'm giving you the 1-2-3 steps you need to fall in love with your quality of life.
FFFF stands for: 1. Fast Exercise -- 10 minutes of intense movement improves your defenses against disease. 2. Fast Brain Work -- speed of processing games that reduce dementia risk. 3. Fiber -- consumed daily from fruits, veggies and supplements, it slashes heart and cancer risks. 4. Food Choices -- making smart decisions about portion size and meal timing can shed pounds and increase muscle mass.
PPP stands for: 1. Posse -- a group of friends who have your back helps you live longer and stronger. 2. Purpose -- a reminder to find a reason to get up every morning with anticipation of good things you'll do for others and yourself. 3. Play -- frequent fun improves your mental health.
AA stands for: 1. Avoiding Stupid Stuff -- eliminating harmful habits like texting while driving will keep you from self-inflicted harm. 2. Avoiding the Five Food Felons -- means breaking out of the unhealthy prison that added sugar, syrups, simple carbs, red and processed meats and fried foods condemn you to.
Simple as A-B-C and 1-2-3! For details on the hows and whys, read my blog "Four F's, Three P's, and Two A's: The Keys to Living Younger Longer" at michaelfroizenmd@substack.com.
