On a Day of Four Squared Aspects
Fear is often experienced as something very different from its essence, if it even has one. Does a hole have an essence? Fear, like a hole, is defined by what it's not. Fear is felt as a tangible, overwhelming force, but when you look closely, it's a reaction to something missing or lacking -- a potential threat, uncertainty or loss. Fear is a gap in certainty, not a solid thing.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). There is no way to be perfect at the job you're doing, but there are a million ways to be good at it, so stop worrying and start experimenting. Progress comes through trial and play. A light heart will take you further than a rigid plan. TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Approaching strangers is a path of rejection because people don't like to open their conversations or doors to those they don't know. Instead, use the connections you already have even as you continually add to your network and cultivate your social presence.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You made your choice, and as you look at the result of that decision, the reasons for that choice, if they ever existed, now escape you. Maybe external forces played a part, but it's yours to navigate now -- and brilliantly.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Sometimes you feel like more of a shifting constellation of experience, memory and influence than a person. Embrace the fluidity of the moment; release the need for perfection, and instead, focus on what you can create today.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). There's a relationship issue to acknowledge and address, at least within yourself. Perhaps distance is the answer, or a change in expectations. Either way, there's no need for a dramatic scene, just gentle adjustments.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Encouragement is nice, and positive feedback is mood-boosting. Still, nothing is quite as helpful as the criticism that will shine light on where you can improve. Dare to ask for that and you'll get valuable information as well as respect.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're creatively open. A passing remark, a fleeting emotion, a strange bit of information that seems irrelevant at first -- all of it can weave into what you're making, giving it a texture and depth you couldn't have planned.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll recognize something interesting about the stories you tell yourself and the stories others tell about you. You'll also see how you're shaped by what you consume -- media, culture, conversation -- and by what you do with that input.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Independence feels critical to your experience and mood. Also, you prize your privacy, and you crave freedom. To grow in this spirit, take charge of whatever matters you can, starting with the financial end.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You think and share, ponder and discuss, dream and plan... but it's all just theory until you actually act. Things change because of action. You change because of action, and when that happens, the world changes, too.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Ideally, you would find a certain someone to be endlessly fascinating, though long-term connections are often more about forgiveness than fascination -- more about offering grace than expecting to be held in rapt attention.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Emote. Enact your feelings. If happy, let the joy dance. If sad, let it leak. Talking about why and trying to sort out the recipe diminishes the experience. Just feel it and let it work its way through unencumbered by story or explanation.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (March 22). This year features five notable superstar moments. Each time the spotlight swings to you, it reveals the ways you've worked hard, grown strong and developed your truly unique talents. More highlights: inspiring conversations, travel and new cultural experiences, and fate-enhancing heart connections. Leo and Sagittarius adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 7, 19, 34 and 12.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Among the many upcoming projects of Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon is the highly anticipated "Legally Blonde 3" as well as the television series "Elle," a prequel about the teenage years of Elle Woods that Witherspoon is producing. Feisty high-energy characters are a trademark for the Aries born when both the sun and Jupiter were in the warrior sign. Strong water signs currents indicate keen intuition.
