'THEY WILL KILL YOU'

Rated R for strong bloody violence, gore, language and brief sexual content/nudity.

What it’s about: A woman infiltrates a mysterious Manhattan apartment building in hopes of rescuing her sister.

The kid attractor factor: This is an extremely violent horror action comedy — not for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Don't judge a book by its cover.

Violence: Extreme and surreal/supernatural bloody violence throughout.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: A few glimpses of a group sex scene with some nudity and references to sex.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too violent for kids. OK for mature teens only.

What it’s about: A coven of witches rule a Texas mall out of their boutique.

The kid attractor factor: This has some appeal for younger teen girls.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Secrets will always come out.

Violence: Some gory images and bodily destruction.

Language: Some swearing.

Sex: References to sex and a few sex scenes with nudity.

Drugs: Onscreen marijuana use as part of their dark magic.

Parents’ advisory: Too mature for kids but OK for teens.
