Brittany Curran, an actress known for her role on “Chicago Fire” and Syfy’s “The Magicians,” was taken into custody late last week on charges of disorderly conduct.
According to Burbank Police Department arrest records, the actress came to the station in the early hours of Friday exhibiting clear signs of alcohol intoxication.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Curran “could not account for how she arrived at the location,” was allegedly too drunk to “answer basic questions” and “appeared unable to care for her own safety.”
The 35-year-old was booked on a charge of drunk in public – disorderly conduct, arrest records show. It’s unclear when she was released from custody, though she’s since been active on social media.
The Massachusetts native got her start as a child actor appearing on MadTV in 2001 when she was 11 years old.
While many now recognize her from “Chicago Fire,” Curran also had a recurring role in four seasons of “The Magicians” before the series ended in 2020. Earlier in her career, she appeared in 13 episodes of “Men of a Certain Age,” as the daughter of Ray Romano’s character, and in 10 episodes of the ABC Family mystery series “Twisted.”
In May of last year, Deadline announced that Curran will be starring in the indie romance “The Heart Brake,” appearing opposite Joey Lawrence and Beverly D’Angelo.
Filming took place last summer, and the movie is now in postproduction.
