Decomposing body found inside impounded Tesla of singer D4vd

A decomposing body was discovered inside a Tesla registered to singer D4vd, days after it was impounded at a tow yard in Hollywood, according to reports.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called Monday afternoon to the 1000 block of North Mansfield Avenue to investigate a foul smell coming from a recently towed Tesla, ABC 7 reported. When they arrived on the scene around 12:30 p.m., authorities discovered human remains in a plastic bag left in the trunk of the electric vehicle with Texas license plates.
According to Fox 11, the car was towed to the lot from the Hollywood Hills last week after someone called it in as missing. Investigators believe the body had been in the trunk about five days before it was moved.
No information about the person inside the Tesla, including a cause of death, has been provided.
Police confirmed to TMZ that the car is registered to Queens-born singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The 20-year-old performer — known for songs like “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide” — released his debut album earlier this year after some serious success on TikTok and social media. He’s supposed to take the stage in Minneapolis on Tuesday as part of his “Withered” tour, which kicked off last month.
It is scheduled to stop in Los Angeles on Sept. 20.
