Black Keys announces summer 'No Rain, No Flowers' tour

DETROIT — After scrapping its 2024 arena tour, the Black Keys have announced a summer tour, including a Detroit-area date at Pine Knob Music Theatre.

The Akron, Ohio, duo will perform at the Clarkson amphitheater on Aug. 21, promoters announced Monday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster channels.

Gary Clark Jr. will open the show, which is part of a newly announced leg of the band's "No Rain, No Flowers Tour." The tour is named for the band's latest album, which is due out later this year.

 

The Black Keys were due to perform at in the area in November, but that tour date was canceled along with the rest of the band's 2024 tour.
